Based on a GV-800 8-port card installed at a very remote demo site in the French Pyrenees. This PC server is permanently connected to a Wanadoo 512k ADSL service with dynamic IP address. We have used NO-IP.COM's free dynamic DNS service to allow us to link to the server through its own domain name. The ongoing broadband connection costs are extraordinarily low at around £6 per week. This configuration is ideal for holiday home owners who want to be able to keep an eye on their properties while they are away. The GeoVision software can be configured to alert you by phone, pager or email when an intruder triggers the motion sensing on a camera. ADSL broadband is now widely available throughout Europe - contact us BY EMAIL or phone on +44 (0)1342 715396 for more information. See below for details of the cameras used.
